CENTENNIAL, Colo. (May 5 2026) – Colorado Natural Gas, a subsidiary of Summit Utilities, Inc., named Kristin Jacobs, risk manager, as the recipient of the company’s 2025 Citizen Award, recognizing her exceptional commitment to volunteerism and community impact.

The annual award honors employees across the company's six-state footprint who go above and beyond in serving their communities. It’s very rewarding to give back.”

As part of the recognition, Jacobs selected Benefits in Action to receive a $250 donation from Colorado Natural Gas. The Colorado-based nonprofit helps individuals navigate and access public benefits, including Medicaid, Medicare, SNAP and Social Security.
